The project has been designed as a weekend home for a small family living in the midst of urban chaos. With an approach to creating a space that transcends and reconnects their lives with a calm, vibrant, and natural surroundings. The apartment is designed with a poetry of colors, balanced in a substantial rhythm of straight lines, curves and edges.

The living room of this weekend home is accentuated with a blue wainscoting that adds an energizing and vibrant aura. The Santorini blue used in the interior pairs perfectly with the view of the creek and the lush green landscape  that opens-up through the window. The grey walls soften the interior, and the wood adds warmth to the space. Without black, no color has depth and so black is used as an accent in the form of door frames, inlays, and skirtings that run along throughout the interior. A small slender bar table lined with a curved wooden frame is placed next to the dining area to utilize every corner of this compact living room and gives a corner for two individuals to have profound conversations filled with fun, laughter, and zest. The semi-arched black door with fluted glass slowly opens-up the interiors from blues to warmer colors in the bedrooms. Yellow lines wrap around the smaller bedroom and a light pink wainscoting with a subtle tropical printed wallpaper washes the Master bedroom walls.

Wall arts for this interior are created by a collection of lines that form into different scenes that perfectly integrates into each space and makes one's self escape into a pleasant reverie. Bold color choices offer a wonderfully playful vision of the house and give personality to the interiors, and a sense of cheerful retreat to the family from their busy and hectic lives during their weekend stay.
